Bar magnifiers, also known as line readers, are designed to assist people with low vision, vision impairment, and other eye conditions. They work by isolating and magnifying one line of text at a time. These reading aids are available in both single and double height with 2x magnification.

They come in 8 or 10-inch lengths and feature:
