Product Description
The Magna-5 system is a set of components that can be used together to provide a small but significant improvement in vision for low-vision patients. These components can be mixed and matched in the Magna-5 Evaluation Kit to find the best combination for a patient. The system includes three main parts:
- 5% Magnification: This small increase in magnification can make a big difference for someone's vision
- Prism Options: You can use a base-up or base-down prism to shift light away from the center of the retina. This can help the patient use their remaining vision more effectively. You also have the option of no prism
- Contrast and Glare Filters: The system comes with filters set at 450nm and 527nm, which are designed to improve contrast and reduce glare. These can also be customized or paired with other low-vision filters you may prefer
